We’re looking for a peer who can work independently to be part of the recruitment process in the east coast. The position involves posting new job positions in various forums, college and high school job boards, blogs, and social media sites. The right candidate will interview each candidate, document the process, and provide the candidates for the review of our management team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are key for this position.
Main Activities
– Post job position opportunities on blogs, social media, and forums
– Conduct a background search on each candidate
– Coordinate drug test and criminal background tests with the candidate
– Interview the candidate
– Provide a list of selected top candidates to management for final decision
– Document the processes to hire top star candidates
– Weekly meetings with the management team to review hiring procedures
– Maintenance of Career Opportunity board at Maria’s
– Provide technical assessment to applicants to determine level of expertise
– Provide company culture assessment to candidate to determine affinity to the organization
– Check on candidates’ personal and career referrals
– Participate in county and college job fairs to promote the current positions
Education and Experience
– Bachelors/Masters Degree in Human Resources
– 5+ Years experience
– Bi-Lingual is a plus (English-Spanish)
